What's the highest you've ever paid for a domain name? I've never paid more than the normal registrar fee, but have heard stories of people paying hundreds of thousands.

Well my first actually AUCTION on EBAY. Was a website I had called www.cook2u.com I bought the domain name for 8 $ and sold it for 500$. This is what really got me interested in the Domain Name buisness...I got one now that could sell for a couple thousand you just have to look for good domains and buy them up..And Make sure they have a good apprasal value as well.

I haven't bought any domain yet aside from registrars so I only have around $10 per domain and I have 15 domains right now.

Highest I was paid was 22$, bought the domain for the usual 8$, sold it for 35$ but I also had to use SitePoint's Marketplace which costed 5$, so overall it wasn't a big profit, but it was my first sale :P

It's not bad you guys. I just make sure to look at everything and absorb everything I can when learning about something which is why I was happy to accept being a mod here. Because I would love to learn more where there is 500$ there is alot more hehehehe.

yes stealer i remember the day you did that i saw the acution it was a extremly nice day lol , i have actally never sold a domain before but i am really intrested about becoming a business member up on this fine comunity of domain business are gamling domains worth alot of money??? where do you sell the domains other than ebay ????:) :( :eeki was hoping to buy around 10 domains and sell them off all as rares as a bundle of 2k when i pay around $300 lol
